Building upon the Sun Valley Extension Traffic Study, the North Fulton CID is working with the City of Roswell to consider a second roadway connection from the new Sun Valley Extension (from Mansell Road to Highway 9) that would connect to Old Ellis Drive and Old Roswell Road. The Sun Valley Drive Extension was designed and funded by the City of Roswell and began construction in early 2017. This additional connection would improve east-west access through the area between Alpharetta Highway/Highway 9 and the Old Roswell Road and Westside Parkway area near Georgia 400.

The City of Roswell is currently considering design of the connection to and improvement of Old Ellis Road and is in talks with the CID to partner on design funding.
