Details
This project will reduce congestion at the high-traffic Georgia 400 interchange at Windward Parkway by adding a triple-left-turn lane that will extend along westbound Windward Parkway to Deerfield Parkway and Westside Parkway. The project is a part of an ongoing effort to improve transportation flow for drivers along and entering Windward Parkway from Georgia 400 northbound.
The Windward Parkway triple-left project was envisioned in the CID’s Blueprint North Fulton master plan and is also included in the second iteration of the plan, Blueprint North Fulton 2.0.
Financial Commitment
This project will cost an estimated $7.18 million. The North Fulton CID’s contribution totals just over $1 million, which includes all design and construction management.
