Details
The Mansell Road Triple-Left Turn-Lane Project created a triple-left-turn lane from eastbound Mansell Road onto northbound North Point Parkway. This project was designed to improve traffic flow in the North Point Mall area, reducing traffic backups and bottlenecks that affect Mansell Road, North Point Parkway, and Georgia 400 daily.
The project is located at the intersection of Mansell Road and North Point Parkway, just east of Georgia 400. The triple-left-turn lane replaced the existing double-left-turn lane on Mansell Road east-bound.
Financial Commitment
The North Fulton CID was able to obtain funding from the State Road and Tollway Authority for construction. The NFCID funded $500,000 to this project for design and construction management.
