The North Fulton CID funded the Northern Suburbs Comprehensive Transit Feasibility Study, which focused on linking four major activity centers: (1) the Town Center Community Improvement District; (2) the Cumberland Community Improvement District; (3) the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts; and (4) the North Fulton Community Improvement District. The objective of the study was to develop an implementable approach to link these activity centers with transit while providing connections to the MARTA heavy rail system. This study built upon previous efforts for transit connectivity and be developed in a manner that will provide key inputs into the subsequent NEPA process.
Financial Commitment
The entire study cost approximately $400,000 and was split among the participating CIDs.
