Because more than a half-dozen infrastructure projects near the North Fulton CID are stalled due to lack of funding or other constraints, the CID board discussed the potential for a geographic expansion during its Sept. 6 board meeting.

Commercial property owners near the CID would need to agree to become CID members to move these projects forward. By Georgia law, a CID can only pay for project construction within its District boundaries.

Projects at Windward Parkway, Old Milton Parkway, Sun Valley Drive and other locations will likely not get done without the CID’s help, and commercial property owner involvement.

The CID has a proven track record of identifying, funding and completing projects within the District. For every dollar invested by its members, more than six dollars of CID funding is committed to new projects.
