CID LOOKS AT EXPANSION, RESPONDING TO COMMUNITY REQUESTS
At the request of city leaders and community partners in Alpharetta, Milton and Roswell, the North Fulton Community Improvement District is looking to expand its geographic boundaries and impact more projects.
Currently, projects at Windward Parkway, Old Milton Parkway, Sun Valley Drive and other locations are stalled due to a lack of funding or other constraints. Community leaders have asked for help in moving these projects forward. In order to make an impact on the District through transportation, landscaping and infrastructure improvements, the CID must expand its geographic boundaries.
The CID has held several community outreach meetings with local business and homeowner groups to introduce them to the District and collect feedback and ideas on current and future projects.Additionally, the CID has been giving tours of the District to city officials from Alpharetta, Milton and Roswell. Currently, the CID represents nearly 400 property owners along the Georgia 400 corridor and more than 77,000 employees who work within the district.
