KRISTIN ROME JOINS NORTH FULTON COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT AS ASSISTANT PROJECT DIRECTOR


ATLANTA, May 9, 2012 – The North Fulton Community Improvement District (CID) has hired Kristin Rome of Acworth as an assistant project manager. Rome will assist CID Chief Operating Officer Ann Hanlon in advancing infrastructure projects throughout the District.

“Kristin’s knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment to the North Fulton region make her a fantastic asset to our team,” Hanlon said. “She also brings an intense interest in CIDs, so Kristin is really an ideal fit for us.”

Prior to joining the CID, Rome studied community improvement districts as part of her graduate thesis at Kennesaw State University, where she earned a dual master’s degree in public administration and business administration. Her work will be published in Public Performance & Management Review later this year.

Rome received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. Currently involved with the Boy Scouts of America as an adviser for the Venture Crew youth development program, she also served as an intern for the Association County Commissioners of Georgia and the Arthritis Foundation Southeast Region, both in Atlanta. Rome has been inducted into numerous honor societies, including Pi Alpha Alpha, Order of Omega and Pi Alpha Theta.
