North Fulton CID Executive Director Receives Unsung Hero Award from Atlanta Regional Commission

The North Fulton Community Improvement District (CID) is pleased to announce that Brandon Beach, North Fulton CID executive director, has received the Atlanta Regional Commission Unsung Hero Award. Brandon was recognized on November 3, 2018 at the ARC’s State of the Region Breakfast, along with State Representative Kevin Tanner, for their work in passing House Bill 930. As has become customary for the ceremony, Beach and Tanner passed the award along to Jenna Dolde, the legal counsel who drafted the language for the bill. The award recognizes an individual who works quietly and tirelessly behind the scenes in a way that supports high quality of life for all residents, while balancing social, economic and environmental needs in their community.

“It was no surprise to us that Brandon was the recipient of this award,” said Moses Brown, North Fulton CID vice-chairman of the board. “He has an unmatched passion for transportation and a drive to move our region forward with projects that best serve our communities.”

Beach played an integral role in the legislation which created The ATL, the new transit authority for Metro Atlanta.

“It is an honor to accept this award from an organization that does so much to focus the region’s leadership on critical issues,” said Beach. “I want to thank all of the people who worked alongside me in making the creation of HB930 possible.”
