World's First Connected Vehicle Lab Opens in Alpharetta

The North Fulton CID would like to congratulate Applied Information, Inc. on bringing the world’s first connected vehicle laboratory to Alpharetta. The Infrastructure Automotive Technology Laboratory (iATL) opened on Friday, January 10, 2020 and will provide a central technology hub where technology innovators can test new and current technology. The North Fulton CID recently partnered with Applied Information, Inc. to bring upgraded connected vehicle technology to 55 traffic signals within its district. At the opening, the North Fulton CID was also honored with a Visionary Award for its forward-thinking and innovative approach to this new technology.
