Because more than a half-dozen infrastructure projects near the North Fulton CID are stalled due to lack of funding or other constraints, the CID board discussed the potential for a geographic expansion during its Sept. 6 board meeting.
Commercial property owners near the CID would need to agree to become CID members to move these projects forward. By Georgia law, a CID can only pay for project construction within its District boundaries.
