At its Sept. 6 board meeting, the North Fulton CID board heard updates on regional transportation issues and local economic development. Senator Doug Stoner attended the monthly CID meeting and provided the board an update his efforts to bring rail transit to Cobb County, as part of the Metro Atlanta Regional Roundtable process.

Al Nash, director of Progress Partners, also provided the board an update on the economic development efforts for this initiative of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. Progress Parnters has become the go-to-organization for economic development in the area. “North Fulton is definitely the hub of technology in the South,” Nash said.
