North Fulton CID Completes Interchange Landscaping At Georgia 400 and Old Milton Parkway

May 13, 2013

ALPHARETTA, Ga., May 13, 2013 – The North Fulton Community Improvement District (CID) has completed its final interchange landscaping project along Georgia 400, creating a new look to all four gateway interchanges in North Fulton. The North Fulton CID invested nearly a half-million dollars to beautify the Georgia 400 and Old Milton Parkway interchange, partnering with the City of Alpharetta to complete the project.

“These are more than just landscape projects – these professionally designed interchanges are the entry points for the District,” said North Fulton CID Chief Operating Officer Ann Hanlon. “The landscaping makes a huge first impression for businesses or really anyone interested in coming to North Fulton.”

To promote a consistent appearance throughout the District, the new landscape design at Old Milton Parkway continues the theme of the North Fulton CID’s previous landscaping at Windward Parkway, Haynes Bridge Road and Mansell Road.

The North Fulton CID selected Russell Landscape Group to install the more than $400,000 in trees, shrubs and other landscaping enhancements at the Old Milton Parkway interchange. The cost includes three years of maintenance, allowing the native plants and trees time to take root.

The Old Milton landscaping and other projects are aligned with Blueprint North Fulton, the master plan for the North Fulton CID. Blueprint North Fulton creates a cohesive vision to guide transportation and development initiatives throughout the commercial areas that constitute the North Fulton CID in Alpharetta, Milton and Roswell.
