Details

The North Fulton CID and the City of Alpharetta partnered to improve the operational efficiency of Marconi Drive and its intersection with Windward Parkway. The improvements included widening Marconi Drive to provide two northbound lanes at the Windward Parkway intersection, one right turn lane and one left/through lane.

The project was completed and open to traffic on April 1, 2014.

Financial Commitment

The City of Alpharetta designed the improvements in-house. The North Fulton CID provided $150,000 funding for construction and construction management.
